Boughton Village Hall

Boughton village hall is located on Butchers Lane toward the centre of the village. The original hall, known as the ‘Ut’ was a wooden structure built in 1921 and used to hold local dances, concerts and provide a clinic for the local children. The ‘Ut’ was replaced with the current hall in 1967.

The village hall is available to hire for both repeat classes, clubs or functions and one off events provided they meet with the conditions of hire. Conditions of hire, including cost, will be provided upon booking enquiry.  A deposit is required for all bookings. Access to the hall will be agreed during the booking process with parking available for hall users. The interior of the hall has recently been refurbished and features:

  • Approx 50′ x 28′ floorspace
  • Buffed hardwood floor in main hall
  • Kitchen facilities

  • Tables and chairs
  • Crockery*

The village hall is suitable for hosting a range of regular activities, such as local club / group meetings, dance and fitness classes, choir / music lessons and rehearsals, and preschool / mum and toddler groups.
