These are administered by the Planning Department of Daventry District Council and all parishioners have the right to send their comments on any application affecting the village directly to Daventry District Council. The Parish Council is a statutory consultee on planning applications within Boughton Parish and makes submissions to Daventry District Council on behalf of all residents. 15th November 2018 DA/2018/0984 42 Church Street, Boughton NN2 8SG Construction of two storey rear extension No objection by the Parish Council  to works to front of the property but scale of the rear extension was too large for the setting and would overlook adjoining properties which are both listed.  The property is in the conservation area so the advice of the conservation officer is essential.
15th November 2018 DA/2018/0995 Hill House, Butchers Lane, Boughton Single storey side and rear extension. External and internal enhancements. No objection by the parish Council, however some concerns were raised with materials and external surfaces. The property is on rising ground so the advice of the Conservation Officer is essential.Application Approved by DDC 24th January 2019.
