These are administered by the Planning Department of Daventry District Council and all parishioners have the right to send their comments on any application affecting the village directly to Daventry District Council. The Parish Council is a statutory consultee on planning applications within Boughton Parish and makes submissions to Daventry District Council on behalf of all residents. If you wish your views to be taken into account by the Parish Council, please contact either one of our Parish Councillors or the Clerk to the Council.

17th July 2017 DA/2017/0621 Merewater, Church Street, Boughton NN2 8SG Demolition of single storey rear extensions, single garage and double garage, construction of single storey rear extension and detached triple garage. No objection by the Parish Council 14th August 2017.  However, councillors noted that entrances to the property were situated on Vyse Road and Church Street and concern was voiced about contractor parking during the build period on these narrow roads.  It was agreed that a planning condition be requested that the garage was demolished first to create space on the site for the parking of contractors vehicles.
17th July 2017 DA/2017/0622 Merewater, Church Street, Boughton NN2 8SG Listed Building Consent for demolition of single storey rear extension, alterations to rear garden room and construction of single storey rear extension. Various alterations including insertion of new window and door on south-east elevation, alterations to ground floor kitchen area to form entrance hall and disabled bathroom and insertion of bathroom on first floor.  No objection by the Parish Council 14th August 2017
18th July 2017 DA/2017/0511 & DA/2017/0512 Land at Welford Road, Boughton Reserved matters application (appearance, landscaping, layout and scale) for 32 dwellings, estate road, open space and associated worksVariation of condition 7 of planning permission DA/2014/0521 (construction of up to 41 dwellings) in relation to a revised Flood Risk Assessment. No observations by the Parish Council 14th August 2017
22nd August 2017  DA/2017/0790 Redwood, Butchers Lane, Boughton NN2 8SH Conversion of existing garage to habitable rooms, single storey extension to form garage.  External alterations to form parking area. No objection by the Parish Council subject to suggested planning conditions.
13th September 2017 DA/2011/0666 Buckton Fields                                                                                                Land off Brampton Lane, Boughton Mixed use development comprising of up to 1050 dwellings (C3), B1 employment, residential care home (C2), park and ride facility of up to 500 spaces, local centre (A1/A2/A3/A5), primary school, public open space and associated highways and drainage infrastructure. 21st September 2017 DA/2017/0851 Boughton Grange, Harborough Road North, Boughton NN2 8SW Change of use from single dwelling to two dwellings including the construction of two detached garages and porches including the use of the coach house as a separate residential dwelling. No objection by the Parish Council in view of the amendments proposed subject to the approval of NCC Highways to the proposals for an improved access leading to the Harborough Road North.
27th September 2017 DA/2017/0926 Fairfield, Moulton Lane, Boughton NN2 8RG Single storey front extension to link dwelling to garage, single storey rear extension including demolition of conservatory.  Enlarge existing access. No objection by the Parish Council now that the proposed link to the garage has been removed 22nd November 2017.Application approved by DDC 29th November 2017

6th December 2017 DA/2017/1141 27 Moulton Lane, Boughton Proposed part removal of existing single storey rear lean-to and construction of two storey rear extension No objection by the Parish Council, however, concern that this is a modern design and the building materials are unsuitable and out of character with the original features.
